Roof Support Systems
General Introduction
Aitkens roof support systems come in a number of ranges to suit all applications. System (AFX) is for supporting pipe work, cable trays and small outdoor condensing units. This range is also available in an extra high range for supporting heat pumps, condensers, pipe and cable trays. Our (AHFF) range is our base solution for supporting services on roofs.
Other ranges available but not detailed here are our (ADF) range this is a spherical double foot for supporting anything on your roof from pipe work, ductwork, cable trays, H frames, air conditioning equipment, plant rooms and combinations of all the above. Our (AWT) range which are our walkway & anti-vibration mats for establishing clear walkways on roofs. The (AAV) range is also available, this product line is used for vibration control and the solutions come in the form of strips, pads & slabs. Contact our sales team for more info on these products.
Our 7 feet of the AFX range are a practical and versatile support solution for pipe work and cable trays. The system can also be used for smaller outdoor condensing units or air source heat pump installations. The range have a 41mm x 21mm pre-galvanised channel recessed into the top face allowing the end user to use standard strut fixings to secure the services to the feet. The range of products are made of durable recycled rubber, which offers built-in anti vibration and makes it both economically and environmentally friendly.

SBR-recycled rubber, bound using a ratio of high quality moisture curing polyurethane pre-polymer. BS7188: 1989 & BS5696 part 3: 1979. The working conditions make the product suitable for internal or external applications in Temperatures between –40C to +80C.
AHFF Range - Base Solutions
The AHFF Frame foot is a quick, versatile and economical solution for supporting anything on your roof from pipe work, ductwork, cable trays, air conditioning equipment to plant rooms. You provide your own strut, keeping the installations low cost and totally flexible by fabricating the frameworks on-site. Available as a 41mm or 50mm core insert. Where a greater load spread is required you can upgrade to a 500mm x 500mm square foot. These are sold as individual products, therefore, there is NO wasted packaging or assembly kits surplus to requirements during installations.
For securing your Ductwork and light weight plant why not use Aitkens 12kg or 25kg foot for extra ballast for sloped roofs, the ‘Angled’ feet have been moulded uniquely as one component in either 2.5° or 5° angles.
